-----------------

From the feet to the summit, artificial, voiceless echo. Non-permanence of the word,
said and heard again, disjointed from the same air that pronounced it, from the
movement of its own limit. Everest is an irruptive idea where it's the voice that wields
the power, not vice versa.
On March 19, 26 and April 2, from 5 to 8 pm, near the entrance of ex Domenichelli area
placed in via Torino, it’s installed a Radio transmitting structure. Three reading
sessions and electro-acoustic performances are held inside. On the summit of Torre
Everest, live Fm, an audio system receives the signal and broadcasts it, creating a
place of suspended listening.
Visitors can reach the top of the building through the rooms from which transmitted
Radio Star, active since the mid-seventies on frequency modulation 100.1mhz. It’s on
the same frequency that narrating voices pass through. ‘The Arabian Nights’ as a
reference text to structure a dialogue between latent languages and convergent
cultures.
